Scriptures in Use

Scriptures in Use specializes in training non-western oral learners through an Oral Bible (a collection of stories from the Bible that are told face-to-face and memorized). Research shows the number of people groups where Evangelical Christians comprise less than 2% of the total population is 6,818 (unreached) groups out of 11,501 total people groups in the world. Sixty percent of the world’s population or 4.35 billion people are oral learners. Oral people experience difficulty receiving the Gospel when presented in a literate style.

The goal of this course is to help you understand more about oral communicators and to become familiar with Orality.

The average learner spends approximately one hour per lesson completing the online material. Using the downloadable reading material and visiting additional sites for more information will extend the hour. You may come and go as your schedule permits. This course is similar to Bridges 1.

The course does NOT include a seminar or seminar leader.
